Privacy Policy
The New Pet Times treats your personal data with care and follows applicable privacy laws. This policy explains what we collect during reservation, application, and use of the service, and how it is used and protected.
1. What we collect
We collect only the minimum needed to provide the service.
- When you reserve or apply — your name, email address, phone number, and your pet's name (all required). We use your phone number to confirm payment and arrange delivery.
- When you use the service — the photos you upload, your interview answers, and your story content
- At payment — information needed for payment (handled by a payment processor; card numbers are not stored by us)
- Collected automatically — IP address, access logs, device/browser info, and cookies (for service improvement, analytics, and ad performance measurement)
We do not collect personal information from children under 14, who may not create an account or use the Service. Purchases are limited to those aged 19 or older (Terms of Service, Article 5).
2. How we use it
- To receive and guide your reservation or application
- To provide the service, including hardcover production and shipping
- To respond to inquiries and send notices
- To improve service quality and run analytics
3. Retention
We periodically review personal data whose purpose has been fulfilled and destroy it (see Section 8 for the destruction procedure). Where the law requires retention (e.g., contract and payment records under e-commerce law), we keep it for the required period.
If you request deletion, we erase any data we are not legally required to keep, without delay.
4. Sharing with third parties
We never provide or sell your personal data to outside parties without your consent, except where required by law.
5. Processing entrusted to others
To run the service, some tasks — payment processing, shipping, printing and production, and email delivery — may be entrusted to outside providers. We manage and supervise them to keep your data safe, and the specific providers will be listed here in time for launch.
International data transfers
To operate the service, personal data is transferred abroad as described below. These transfers are necessary to perform our contract and provide the service. You may object to a transfer by contacting the privacy officer below, though objecting may limit your use of the service.
| Recipient | Country | Data transferred | Purpose |

Transfers occur over telecommunications networks at the time you use the service. Data is retained in line with each provider's policy, and no longer than the term of our agreement with them.
6. Protecting your photos and content
Once the record service launches and you begin using it, the photos and memories you provide are kept as private records and are never published, shared, or used as examples without your explicit consent. We never invent facts you didn't share as if they were real memories.
7. Your rights
You can request to access, correct, delete, or stop the processing of your personal data at any time. Contact the privacy officer below and we'll handle it without delay.
8. Deletion
We periodically review personal data whose retention period has passed or whose purpose has been fulfilled, and destroy it. If you request deletion, we destroy your data without delay. Electronic files are erased irrecoverably, and printouts are shredded or incinerated.
9. Security measures
We maintain reasonable safeguards to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and access logging.
